DEWATERING DUNK PRESS

Dewatering Dunk Press efficiently removes moisture from sludge through controlled flocculation and continuous drum pressing, ensuring stable, energy-saving performance. Its automated, low-cost design delivers consistent dewatering with precise polymer dosing and minimal maintenance.

About Dewatering Dunk Press

At Ishan Paryavaran Private Limited, we are at the forefront of environmental innovation, and our Dewatering Dunk Press system stands as a testament to our commitment to sustainable water treatment solutions. Designed with precision engineering and cutting-edge technology, the Dewatering Dunk Press system offers unparalleled performance, efficiency, and reliability, making it the cornerstone of modern water clarification processes.

How it Works

Polymer Preparation: The correct type and dosage of polymer are first determined through testing; dual flocculation tanks are used if two polymers are required.

Sludge Conditioning: The sludge tank’s agitator runs continuously to maintain a uniform inlet concentration before mixing.

Floc Formation: Prepared polymer solution is blended with sludge in the flocculation tank, forming stable flocs for efficient dewatering.

Pressing & Separation: As the screw rotates, sludge moves through the drum where thickening and dewatering occur; filtrate exits through gaps, and dry sludge cake is discharged.

Reuse & Efficiency: Filtrate can be reused after treatment, while the sludge cake is conveyed away – offering a simple, energy-saving, and low-maintenance process.

Key Components

Flocculation Tanks: Single or dual tanks used to mix sludge with polymer and form uniform flocs for efficient dewatering.

Screw Press Drum: Central rotating drum where sludge thickening and water separation occur.

Sludge Tank with Agitator: Keeps sludge concentration stable and prevents settling before processing.

Polymer Preparation Unit: Prepares and doses the polymer solution at controlled rates for consistent floc formation.

Filtrate & Cake Handling System: Collects reusable filtrate and discharges dewatered sludge cake for transfer via conveyor.

Benefits

Efficient Dewatering: Achieves high solid-liquid separation with minimal energy use.

Low Operating Cost: Simple design and accurate polymer dosing reduce power and chemical consumption.

Compact & Automated: Space-saving structure with programmable controls for easy, reliable operation.

Consistent Output: Continuous mixing and steady feed ensure uniform sludge quality and stable performance.

Environment-Friendly: Reusable filtrate and reduced sludge volume promote sustainable wastewater management.
